See this? That's the standings for the league I play in on Friday nights. See Holland at the top of the table? That's my team. Which clinched the league title this week with a thumping 4-0 win over the second-place team. BOO-YAH. We've got one game to go, but nobody can catch us now, which is particularly nice because our final game is against a team of complete assholes (think the rec soccer equivalent of Blackburn); we actually had our game against them last year abandoned because it got so out of hand.
Also nice: my parents came to watch the game! My mom kept saying that she wanted to come see me play sometime, and this was the one week they could make it, so that turned out well. Sadly they didn't take me for ice cream like they used to when I was little, but I got beer instead. AND they bought me a new United jersey. *hearts*
