My father is like that, too. It was a bit of a pain in the ass, but I sent him steaks for his birthday. He loves to grill in all kinds of weather, so I sent him a couple of big "fancy" steaks.

Not sure what I am going to do for Christmas, though.

We're thinking now of getting him stuff to go with the iPod, like one of those doohickeys so you can hook it up to your car stereo and such. Assuming he hasn't already GONE OUT AND BOUGHT THAT TOO.
