Guys...someone needs to help me get me my Good Wife mojo back. I'm still watching. And I still mostly enjoy. But all my urgency is gone. As evidenced by the fact that - sparkly orgasm motivation aside - I didn't even make it to BC last week because I didn't watch till Saturday

Can we swing back to RK for a moment and his promise that K was going to "pop" in the second half of the season and her story was going to really "crystallize". I get that I'm whining (and if only you could hear the voice in my head as I type this), but correct me if I'm wrong when I say that the definition of "crystallize" is "to make or become definite and clear." Anyone in BC clear on Kalinda's direction right now?Funny you should mention RK's comments about Kalinda's storyline! I may or may not have tweeted the writers in a state of some annoyance while Leonard Dick was live-tweeting the episode

On a rational level, I feel like I should be immune to all this by now. It's nothing new. We've rolled down this dead end road before. But in some ways I almost feel like KNOWING (as opposed to just *knowing*) that some terribly bitter backstage shenanigans happened to cause the Kalinda character assassination and Kalicia destruction would make me feel better. At least then, I could still assume that the super talented writers and creators who gave me my show are still super talented writers and creators who are just being forced to navigate through muck. My faith in that is dissipating and I'm left wondering if they ever knew how to write Kalinda at all...
I am so with you on this! I really want to know. I want to know who to blame and what for. And if JM is the cause I want it known that she is, so people know how freaking unprofessional she is. (It coming out just before she needs to look for a new job would be helpful!)
Bitter kitten indeed!
There's some comfort to the idea of writers' incompetence. Like they freaked out so badly about JC leaving, they dropped all the balls, then thought "hey, let's have a Kalicia drought and then when Will carks it, it will be even more moving when the friendship soulmates reconnect!" It almost seems plausible...
Then I remember that Jace almost definitely knows what happened, puts his little Kalicia mention in every article in order to poke, and then says mournfully on Twitter "I doubt we'll ever see these two in a scene again."
I hear ya, sister. Sometimes I think maybe RK just says stuff that seems like it would be a good sound byte and pacify some of the more disgruntled masses -- not necessarily knowing it's a lie, but really having no idea where things are going so that seems as good to say as anything else.
Or, he actually thinks throwing baseballs and weird sex is popping. I mean, different strokes.
