firefighters rock my socks...
last night was a lot of fun. except for the whole "at home" part of the night cuz dad was in one of his moods again...so i left when mom came to take me to PUMP UP THE VOTE at mcclatchy. i got there and had a grand ol time wandering around the school wondering where i was supposed to go. then just as i was getting lost, i came across max. so i joined max cuz, being that he goes there, he knew where he was going. then we got to the lunch quad and it was very interesting. one of my ex boyfriends (well technically two counting john) was there, my friends from sutter were there, ilana was there, and yet i still felt like "omg i dont know anyone here..." cuz i hadnt talked to anyone in years (except max who i hadnt hung out with him since when i was with john).
but then paul, on of the guitarists from streetlight romance, came up and was like "YOU CAME! i didnt think you were going to..." and so i hung out with him and his gf witnee (the merch girl for streetlight romance) and then sarah from streetlight romance showed up with ian (the drummer in fixed) and then john came and said hi and then daniel showed up (friends with john and other guitarist of streetlight romance) then came caegan and then johns parents and sister were there. it was good to see them again. so people that i knew kept showing up and we were having a grand ol time. then streetlight romance played while me and whitnee hung out at the merch table, singing along.
then some more hanging out and then fixed took the stage. me and sarah joined amanda (daniel's gf and who i hung out with mucho when i was with john), maggie (max's ex gf), kat (amandas friend) and michelle (john's gf which was really awkward but oh well) we had fun pretending to mosh, jumping up and down, screaming our lungs out and stuff like that. sarah went up to the very front of the stage and was about to knock out some really big girl who kept taking pictures of ian and rocking out ("her rolls jiggling were almost as loud as the bass!").
so after fixed was more hanging out with witnee and paul and amanda and daniel and sarah and ian and kat and people back at the merch table. the next band blew out the power so it took them hella long to get it back on. good thing it didn't happen during fixed or streetlight romance! while daniel was talking to kat me and amanda started joking around, pretending to be lesbians just to get him jealous, and then he took so long that amanda had to hit him for him to notice and then sarah was like "what the f***? what are you doing with my girlfriend?" and then amanda..."girls...there's enough of me to go around!" seeing this, ian was like "now hold that thought while i go find a camera..." it was hilarious. but then i had to leave so i quickly said goodbye to people and made my way back to the front of mcclatchy. it was very fun.
i also saw ladder 49 last night. it rocked my socks...id hate to be the wife of a firefighter tho. that would not rock my socks...
