MARCHING BAND CHAMPIONS BABY!!!!!!
We, the SHS Black Knights Marching Band and Color Guard are now the Division Five NESBA CHAMPIONS!!!!!!! What an awesome night. I haven't screamed, hugged, and laughed so much in one night in the longest time (if ever). It was absolutely amazing. And the people are too. God I love them. All my friends who should know who they are and even people who aren't really my friends but just seem really nice.
After we won (by 1 tenth of a point!!!) we were all running on the field and jumping/screaming/hugging people/laughing/and some crying. It was just crazy and fun and seriously amazing. Then they were playing "Cotton Eyed Joe" and "YMCA" and stuff and Mr. C was video taping us all. And people were holding the trophy. The bus ride was so much fun too. We were screaming and singing "We are the Champions" and "B-L-A-C-K-K-N-I-G-H-T-S" and all those songs and once we got back to Stoughton a police car and fire truck escorted us back and we were screaming and making so much noise while we sang the whole time home as we drove through town. It was like midnight and I was so awake. Like I am now, at 1:45 AM.
And Heather, Jackie, and Kim... You probably will never see this but you guys deserve an extra mention of thanks for helping me so much! And then after tonight's *embarrassing* moment, being totally awesome among so many other people. You guys were the best to have near me in drill on my first year. And I know I screwed up so many times and you guys probably were drove crazy but you were just helpful instead. So, thanks so much. <3 I'm glad that I met each of you, and I'll miss you next year Heather...
