You know that sinking stomach feeling? Well....
My job, which I have now been at for 3 months, is awesome.
That's not to say I don't have my "Oh my god I'm new here and I have no clue what is going on!" moments/days/weeks. But it is getting better.
Today my boss informs me that he has given his notice. Of course it sucks because I like my boss - he's really laid back and I don't feel like I have to make a big impression around him. It also has another twist. His last week will be while my payroll cohort will be traveling abroad, which will leave me as the lone soul in the payroll department for a week.
Mind you, this is 2 weeks from now.
OH CRAP.
This will be my time to shine, I've been told. Can I step up to the plate and do this?
