the days slip by, like sand through your fingers
Today looks like its going to be cold and rainy. That made me throw on my snugliest pj bottoms and grab a bigger cup of coffee...haha right now i am really content
listning to coldplay, snuggled up infront of my computer with a hot cup of coffee and a new day ahead of me. I was going to go shopping but i wasent in to mood to wake up at 7 to drive to some insane sale even...
wow that was weird of me, not want to go shoping. But i didnt excatally want to hang out with my mom for four hours and ..yeah. I love my mom and all, she can be really cute sometimes, but other times, she just dosent get it. So i slept in and she didnt try to wake me up early, so i didnt get starbucks :( but i did get to sleep in :) And now i think i am just going to be here all day.
Yesterday i went up to the old studio adn helped un drill the floors, and carry those heavyyyyyy boards out. Seriously each panel was 5x7? And theey hurt my hands so much. So i pretty much stayed with the drilling. But then there were the little chunks of wood to keep the floor level and stable. They got thrown into a big plastic trash bag and tossed into the uhal. Then after packing up everything else, like the fridge and the book cases and the tv stand and all that furniture, we drove over to the storage unit in the big van and unloaded it all. That was kind of fun because we started up this entire work line, and we finished pretty fast. The the guys arrived with the uhal and we did all the assembly line again, it was fun. Then the other dancers who were still there and i, we all just sat and let the instructors and 'strong people' unload those big slabs of wood. We sat around and talked. haha fionia makes me laugh, she's a cute kid. So then we realized the new spot for the studio was right by the storage unit so we stopped by there and christina gave us a tour, from the windows because she didnt have a key yet. It is gorgeous...fabulous ;) haha But i cannot wait to move in there, it is a beautiful place, i would love to dance there and fix it up and ..wow
So then after we were doen at the studio and we were all covered in scrapes, bruises, splinters, and little chunks of wood we all were pretty happy with how much we did in so little time. I love this studio and everyone there so i will help out with whatever they need. And apparently we got enough done yesterday that she dosent need anybody to come today. So i am relaxing.
Tommorow is our 'under one sky' for church. Our church usually has 6 services adn their all pretty packed and the place is big. So for the last weeks of summer, their planning all this fun stuff. So their combining all six services into one big one on sunday and were supposed to bring pillows to try and break the guiness book for world records for biggest pillow fight ever. Since i love my church too, i invited mia and her family, and kim because of stuff. So i get to be with them all sunday and yeah. tommorow should be fun, and anyone who is reading this, if you live in vancouver or camas, or anywhere close to here, bring a normal pillow and come to makenzie stadium at 10 tommorow :)
And the rest of today i am sitting and hanging out, trying to make the last days before school worth it.
