I find myself in the weird headspace all too often. I know it well. But I'd like to say as someone who's just been getting to know you recently, I really love hearing what you have to say every time you put yourself out there, and I appreciate the parts of yourself that you share with us.

I also find it hard to use the phrase "parts of yourself" with you now and not think of the previous amputation discussion.

I'm so very glad we've become friends.
