Vid rec! I downloaded this a few days ago, just got around to watching it, and jeez. It's creepy and fun. Very glad I stumbled across it.
Ramalama (Bang Bang) by kiki_miserychic. Dexter, spoilers for season one. Throbbing and wet and bloody, with a great, unrelenting song and some really nice editing and special effects. The vidder does a splendid job of absolutely freaking me out -- but I still keep rewatching it. Very addictive.

Number of times you’ve seen the whole series (to your best estimate): Two times all the way through, plus scattered but numerous rewatchings of individual episodes.
Number of times you’ve seen the movie: Four? Once at a screening, another time in a tiny little movie theater, at least twice from DVD.
Favorite character: Mal.
Least favorite character: Simon. I appreciate him as a character, but I wouldn't like to have dinner with him.
Favorite episode: Oh, jeez. I don't know, y'all.
Least favorite episode: That one where they're questioned by the Alliance and stuff happens. I think it's rather forgettable. (What was the name of it again?)
Favorite quote: Dude, pretty much all of them. But the first ones that come to mind are "We are just too pretty for God to let us die," "Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!", "I aim to misbehave," and "Define interesting."/"Oh god, oh god, we're all gonna die?" And of course, Mal's various awkward speeches that make me cry.
Favorite scene: Speaking of awkward speeches that make me cry... Mal's backlit declaration of misbehavior in Serenity. Or, the first moment we see the ship as it rises the crest of the cliff in the pilot, the cavalry flying to Mal and Zoe's rescue.
Your opinion of the movie: love it, shove it, or mixed feelings: Adore beyond reason.
Favorite canon pairing: Zoe/Wash.
Favorite non-canon pairing: Heh. Mal/River.
In brief, what got you hooked?: The dialect, the humor, the characters, the love they all had for each other.
Your favorite theory on Book’s background: I like the former Operative theory... definitely someone who made a career of being deadly. I don't doubt, however, that he actually became a preacher -- he wasn't just undercover. (Well, not that he couldn't be both.)
Your favorite theory on Inara’s reasons for leaving Sihnon: She got bored? Fell in love? Got in an argument with a higher-up? I have no idea.
Will Mal and Inara ever get together?: At least briefly. I view it as a distanced relationship, though... I don't think they'd be able to put up with each other for more than a few months at a time, and they'd have to split up until the desire for each other built up and drew them back together again. Ebbs and flows.
Will Simon and Kaylee stay together?: For a while, but I think Kaylee would get bored; Simon would be awkward about some things, still, and eventually they'd both move on. Simon would try to hold onto the relationship a little bit longer because I don't think he'd understand why it wasn't working, and he'd keep thinking maybe he could fix it.
Will River stay (or get) on the road to mental health? I don't think she'll ever heal all the way, but definitely enough to function... enough to be in control of herself and her abilities, to connect with others, be more of herself again. The important stuff, with just a little bit of crazy.
Favorite Firefly fanfic: Ah, heh. Weight and Motion by sevenfists. Crossover with Supernatural. But it's set in Firefly-verse, and Dean gets tossed through some portal or something, and so all of a sudden he's on a freaking spaceship, and, just, the crew interaction is really fabulous and the characterization is perfect and Dean and Mal are hot. The end. There's more I'm forgetting, but I got a couple more recs here.
Is Firefly your main fandom now? No, but it never was a main fandom fo rme. It's one of those shows I can just and enjoy endlessly, fandom or not. I don't need fandom for it. It's great as is.
What are your top 2 other fandoms?: This second? Supernatural and... well, Supernatural. It was Doctor Who before that.
