This summer is so close to coming to an end. I'm so surprised by how quickly it went by. A lot has happened but I really haven't done much :)
This weekend was filled with highs and lows. Friday night I went out with David and Cassi and Cassi's cousin Devin; they're all on my soccer team this summer! We went out to George's in the Highlands and then we were supposed to go to see The Island, but because I'm a dumb piece of muck and got lost on the way to Cassi's we were late for that movie so we ended up seeing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was odd. But not as odd as the first one. While we were at dinner I confided in them that I have an eternal fear of the oompa loompas in the first Willy Wonka movie. I think it's mainly the songs that they sing, and probably the green skin too, but I'm also freaked out by the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz so maybe it has something to do with the fact that they're small characters? I don't really know. Anyways, then the weekend hit a snag. Apparently while parked in Cassi's neighborhood I parked directly opposite a driveway, and some dbag pulling out of the driveway hit my car and left a $2000 dent in the door, then ran. And I didn't notice it because it was dark when I left Cassi's, so my Dad woke me up at 8 AM on Saturday and asked me if I had been in an accident. So we spent all day Saturday getting estimates on the damage. Then I went down to Tech, met up with Lydia and we went and picked up her friend David from Southern Poly...picked up some food, some necessary beverages, and headed over to Sig Ep to pregame before going over to the Downtown Rocks concert. We ended up not leaving until like almost 830, we brought packets of Captain Morgan's in our pockets, and Lydia got tackled by a lady cop! I also thought Lydia was going to beat me up. Afterwards, we went to some party in home park where we ran into Christine, Kristyn, and Ramsey! It was great to see Christine. Lydia was obliterated by this point...and that was the last I saw of her until the next morning.
Today I spent all day recovering.
