today = awesomeness
Today was awesome (incase you didn't catch that from the subject line). I was off from work so i slept in until 11 (i probably could have slept later, but i got a phone call). I got up, got dressed brushed my teeth, brushed my newly cut hair (it got cut a day early)and went downstairs to hang out with the young'ens. The phone call i got was from my best friend on the entire planet, jamie, whom (who? i don't know which it is) i've known since i was 5. she was calling to say that she was definitely coming to visit today. so yay for that! i was SOOOO excited, but she wasn't coming until 3 so i had 4 hours to kill...by the time i got downstairs it was about 12 and then i watched some cartoons, played some computer games, and then it was 1:30 and i kept looking at the clock like every 10 minutes to see if it was 3 yet so i went for a walk around 2:15 to kill time. corey saw me as i was walking past his house and commented on how i don't walk anywhere, i bounce..so i chatted with him for awhile about why i was so bouncy (jamie's arrival) and he said to tell her he said hi and then we talked about my car being a death machine, though he said i exxaggerated how bad it was (which i probably do) and he "showed off" how cool his car sounded now that he added this thing (perhaps a whole new muffler, or just an attachment...i don't really know when people talk about cars i don't really understand anything). It makes it really loud and obnoxious, i did not approve. so i bounced merrily on my way to continue my walk and before i got home he drove past me in his now loud, obnoxious car and commented on how fast i was...blah blah blah...i get home to babysit while my mom picked up ryan from pre-school and my brother and his friend are playing video games at like 100 decibles. Luke made me read him an extremely boring book on dinosaur fossils and then i set him up with a coloring book and then his mom came and the phone rang at like the exact same time so i'm telling his mom where he is and trying to talk to my mom on the phone, but mickie went crazy and started jumping near luke's mom (who is pregnant) so i put my mom on hold and calm mickie down and hang up with my mom a few seconds later to get the rest of luke's things (the whole ordeal was very exhausting). so after luke leaves i colored in his coloring book and jamie called to say that she got out of work late and had hit some traffic so wouldn't be there until about 4. when she did get here i was SOOOO excited (as demonstrated earlier by the bouncey-walk). so we decided to go to the outlets so she could go shopping and i could pick up my paycheck ($423 and change, baby) gorgeous chris was not working, so it was disappointing. i forgot to pick up my schedule though so i'll have to go back or call tomorrow...maybe he'll answer the phone... Jamie and i perused the outlets (i am not a good person to shop with...i "made" her spend more money than she wanted too) and then headed home...i showed her pictures from school and she showed me pictures from her school...and then we ate dinner (rigatoni, my favorite :) ). and then we walked around the development while discussing people from south plainfield and other various topics (school, boys, parties, etc). sat on the patio still chatting for awhile and then came inside and chatted while she lauged at some of my playlist songs (she approved of adam richman though). By the end of the night we decided that we HAD to get together more often (this was the first time i had seen her since August) and she said that we should have a single girls night out where we try to pick up hot guys...i'm game...
oh and i want to tell this story because things like this just never happen to me...on tuesday when i went out with sarah and michele we went to charlie brown's up by school so that sarah could use her 30% discount and so that we could see the cool kids she works with (our server guy was pretty hot, but not single, which made him somewhat less hot) so anyway after we hit up QuakerBridge mall and such we're on 195 on the way home and this car with 3 cute guys starts like "car flirting" with the three of us. it was SO funny! they were like waving and smiling and all and they kept up with sarah and stuff so finally they're like a few cars behind us and we wanted sarah to let them catch up, but our exit came so we're turning toward the ramp and they come up behind us and they're beeping and waving and stuff..it made my night to have cute boys "car flirt". haha, i am a nerd...

and P.S. 8 days till my birthday and 10 days till christina's. are we doing anything for june birthdays? because i really think we should. let me know.
