So, I got word today that not only is the shelter going to help with what i put into diagnosing Vladimir, their only suggestion is to either adopt him myself, or bring him in to be put down. Having no urethra, his best chance is a surgery that costs about 1,000 or so dollars. It would be one thing to find a home for a special needs kitty, but he has a home that wants him.
I personally think that euthanasia is an option when you don't have other options. Getting around a thousand bucks is difficult, but it's an option that's there. I'm looking into ways to raise money, but for now, there's this. I'll give it a specific goal after I've talked to a lot of vets.
