whee!
I started my new job today, an admin assistance job with a non profit that helps the elderly and previously homeless have a place to live as well as provides other services. It's pretty rad. It's a faith-based organization that is working towards interfaith status, so awesome. I am very happy with this as a place to be for many reasons.
newest reason is I get a desk and cubicle, loaded with supplies! Squee! I've never had my own desk before! I've got serious work ahead of me, but right not I'm just acclimating, and there's a LOT to get acclimated to! I'm not far from the senator theatre and belvedere square, to give you an idea of where it is.
I'm trying to keep a few hours at the kennel because it's good times and because this position is not quite full time, so why not? We'll see if my brain can juggle that much. I'm looking forward to normalcy and a habit that I can build other healthy habits onto! and a general huzzah for employment!
