Ehhhh I went on my second date with Braden. He originally asked me to go bowling with him, but I can't bowl andddd my mom wouldn't let me go unless I was going with friends. But the day we planned to go was the day AFTER everyone else went, so me not wanting to bother people to go bowling 2 days in a row suggested we change plans. I did it a second time. orz So I felt bad, but he went along with it and said we could go see Sherlock Holmes.
So I wake up the day we planned at 10 am, laid there for 20 more minutes, and then got into the shower. He comes to my house WHILE I'M IN THE SHOWER. He thought the movie started at 11:15. So I come out in new pjs and he ends up going to Target with his mom for an hour or something. Emily comes over in the meantime to do make up and pick out my outfit. She was supposed to leave before he got back, but she didn't make it.
So I was getting a ride with him and his mom which wasn't so bad. I did a fairly good job at keeping it up and positive. No negatives with his mother. At least not that I could tell. We both loled at Braden for not knowing that he visited the city that Owl City was from. And thennnn in the movie theater he came straight out and asked me "Where do we stand?" It caught me a little off guard, so I was slow and said "Huh? What are you talking about?" He clarified and I said I was confused. (about what we had going on) So he asked me a second question, "What's your religion?" I answered none, and he said "Oh...I guess that answers the first question then. I was personally looking for a Christian girl."
I've never been a huge fan of religions, and I doubt this will get me anymore interested in it. If religions get in the way, then I'm staying single for the rest of my life. No doubt about it.
He told me that we didn't need to make it awkward, and I said it was cool, then he went back and said the topic automatically makes things awkward. Anyways, we watched the movie, and my attention sort of wandered off the screen for a little bit because of what happened. I didn't laugh when he did, so I guess he felt the need to tell me that it was okay to laugh. But Watson was sooooo much love. I love Watson. x3333 And uh...we left the theater and went shopping at William Sonoma and Borders. I dragged him into the kids books and toys section and acted like a dork with all the Pokemon and Spongebob stuff. He said I'd be easy to shop for and although he wasn't interested, I thought I'd ask him specific questions about his interests and whatnot anyways. Theeennnnn Nel met up with us, we hung out and talked in Borders for a little bit, went to Maurices and then he left. I went out to dinner with Nel and her family after that. Yummy pizza.
...right now I'm talking to my cousin to get things a little sorted out in my head. But I won't know until school starts up again, probably. I hope we don't have to break up a friendship due to awkwardness, but eh...I kinda don't want to hug him anymore. For some obvious reasons, and well, it kinda prevents him from finding a girl that's suited to his tastes because our hugs are pretty often and look fairly intimate. And tbh, he's not exactly the most liked guy in school...so the less evidence of a relationship between us, the better. But he's really the only guy I hug on a regular basis and I'll miss my guy hugs. orz I couldn't ask Anders for hugs all the time because he's just so popular and I think he likes Olivia. The other guys I hug are all taken. Lol. Ughhhh
But oh well. I no longer need to figure out if I like him or not because it really doesn't matter anymore. That's the good part about it.
I'll be pretty confused when I see him on Monday.
