I am in the process of moving, so I'll be sans-Internet for a bit.
I am pretty excited about moving, although all the packing is the balls. I've taken off Saturday and Sunday so that I can get my shit packed, and moved. Lucky for me, I have 3 trucks and a van helping me move. Rock on!
I guess I haven't updated for awhile, so let me summarize the good stuff for all of you.
* Last week I watched my niece and nephew when they were sick. That pretty much blew. I was up to my elbows in puke and diarrhea all day. Yum.
* That night I went to see my friend Abby's play. I was so proud of her! I think she was happy I came, as her parents were the only others to go see her.
* The Reds game was AWESOME! Fun was had by all. Cara and I proved where there's a will, there's a way, and found a place to smoke up in the ball park. Then we couldn't find our way back to our seats. Twice.
* Sunday I had a very surreal experience. I went to a reception for my old middle English teacher. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, my old DARE officer walks in, playing the bagpipes! It was very odd. No announcement, no nothing. He just walked in, bagpipes ablazin'!
* I got an offer to go back to my old job. More money, salary, etc. I turned him down flat. It was very satisfying.
All-in-all, life is good.
