Lily is 5 months old! She's really kicked "amazing" into high gear, and her personality is shining more and more. We're lucky because she's really a super happy baby; if she's crying, she either wants food or wants to sleep. Sometimes, she wants food and then wants to go back to sleep. Not much updating lately, and truth be told not much reading either. I've been on nights for pretty much the past 2 weeks, first in the ED and then as floor senior. It's nice not being an intern on the floor. I've been mind-numbingly exhausted. Because day care was closed, I didn't get much sleep time after working all night because I had to ( Read more... )

Thursday night was my last day on the beautifully slack GI rotation. I was also "home call" that day. The home call person is the senior resident who gets called in from home (or in my case, the GI clinic) to help out the other senior resident(s) on the floor if things get crazy.
