first week back...
really hasn't been that bad. classes aren't horrific, though i'm quite overwhelmed with work. at least all of them are interesting. i have a feeling that i will get tired of german very quickly, but i'm determined to learn something before i leave to austria!
speaking of which, i've decided to go to vienna instead of salzburg. though i've been to both cities twice, and i prefer the smaller, quiet town of salzburg, i will never be at a loss for fun and activities while in vienna. also, i've had 4 people already tell me that as a program, vienna would be much better for me. after seeing the brochure and looking at the program. i'm working like mad trying to get my petition in early so i can work on my application and such asap. i'm reeeeeally excited! i'm hoping everything works out in the end...
chels is already off in spain, becoming a crazy european :) i miss her whole bunches already. Nick got his placement for the peace corps. i dont know how to feel about it. i'm really flippin happy for him, but my heart is crying. he was such a huge and important part of my life here at gettysburg, esp. freshie year. this year already feels empty without his jokes and 5-year-old pranks. i guess he really was one of my closest friends here.
i just depressed myself, but i hear laughing and chatter downstairs. i'm going to go and make my steak dinner! i hope i can find someone to eat with me...

I just got back from Upscale auditions. Kassi and I decided a half hour before they started "what the hell" and went for it. after having the opportunity to sing with them, i can only say... What the hell took me so long??? I hope I get a callback!
NOW i'm going to go and make some dinner! hehe :)
