I'm home!
well, I'm finally back! summer wasn't what i expected it to be at all, but it was still quite nice. Blockbuster, though draining, was a good paying summer job. Spain was an amazing musical experience for me. didn't get to see my friends very much, but at least visited with those who i really needed to see.
I'm so happy to be back in Wolf House. It's become so much of a home to me, and I love my newly decorated room. Everything is really amazing, but I'm truly missing some important smiling faces around here. I know all will be well, but it seems... less special without them. I'm sure this semester will be amazing - my classes all look great, and I'm working really hard on applying for my study abroad (woo!), but it's really one of those semesters that if i dont actively do something with my social life, i know i'm going to be miserable... i used to be able to walk over to nicks, hop into megs room, or tumble down the stairs into jordan's bed, but none of them are here now (with the exception of J, but she lives really far, and is too busy to just 'hang out') and i think i'm going to have to force myself to see people other than Evan. Kinda makes me happy though, cause i missed out on a lot of fun with friends in the past due to academics, music, and other such things, but life now is much more balanced. shame it took so long to get here.
Well, off to sing the Alma Mater at convocation. already moved all of the first years in this morning, singing at their convocation this afternoon, and singing the nat'l anthem tomorrow night for the FY walk. crazy.
at least i'm getting a massage on friday! sweet.
