so, life hasn't realy been massively exciting, but it's had high points. i started work at blockbuster, and it's a lot harder than i thought, but once i get the hang of the damn computers, it'll be fine... its just the crazy cutsomers that can be a pain. oh well. i'm once again reading through the harry potter series so that i can refresh myself for the 5th movie, and then 10 days later, the 7th (and final) book! it's gonna be intense... i cant believe it's all coming to an end! it's been such a big part of peoples' lives all around the world for almost 10 years.. that's about half of my lifespan. anyways, i'm quite excited and it's nice to pass through the pages of such a good story once again.

well, the party this weekend was a great time. it was wonderful to see all the old crew again at kat's b'day... however, you could definitely tell that there was, well, a rift or separation of people. but, i spose, that's the way things go when you've lived somewhere else for 2 years... anyways, i was kind of tired and i had promised lily i'd stay over so that we could hang out and catch up about our lives since we live so far apart now. well, we had been hanging out and been in conversations with philip and orli the whole night, so they decided to come over and chill for a bit too; maybe watch a moive. well, after only half a power hour (with mixed drinks, not beer), none of us could see straight anymore, and philip started getting 5 stars on hard for guitar hero. we all also piled into the hammock and broke it. i also met orli's special someone, who brought a case of beer that none of us could drink b/c we were so smashed. after staying up till 6am, philip left for home, and the rest of us crashed upstairs in bed.

woke up the next morning, had a small sandwich at noon. got dressed, orli left, and lily & i headed to the lake to see the sailboat she bought, which she has decided to name "Paycheck." we hopped in and sailed around for a while, trying to catch the damn shifty wind, and then philip came by. he, too, jumped in the boat, and we sailed around the whole lake, but this boat was definitely not built for 3 people, haha. then i just sat in a chair on the sand and watched them and lily's cousins play some football in the water with the dogs. it was really just wonderful. only downside of the day was that i became extremely sunburned on my arms and legs. and since nothing else was exposed due to the life vest, i have a farmer's sunburn. oh well...

Evan will be here in 5 days, and i'm incredibly excited to see him! ^.^ well, i'm off to eat some food, read some harry potter, and then pull a 7 hour shift at work (5-12). yeeeah.....
