It's painful, isn't it? Your own friends or family saying things that are considered 'idiocy' - FB has been nothing but a pain for me.. made me feel like trash, most of the time. So I left it! I'm never going back there again. Just thinking of going there to delete my accounts kinda irk me. I don't really want to see any updates from them again.. *hugs*

I've never been a 'charity begins at home' kind of person anyway, though I can appreciate the sentiment. But I think that very concept goes out the window when there's a national disaster and people need help right now. It could be worse though. They could be Nick Griffin (the BNP douche) who actually said: "Sending aid to rioting ingrates while our own people die is stinking elite hypocrisy." And he actually gets people to vote for him.

I wish I could say I continue to be surprised at how stupid people are.

I feel the same way when I see my friends joing stupid groups, like the anti-minaret ones. UGH, it's so unpleasant to find out your friends can be so looney!

that is really frustrating. i will admit that i'm a bit annoyed now with still being asked to donate as i've already done my part, but still. i've been in england for 7 months and you guys treat your people pretty damn well if i say so myself - and i'm from canada! so that's saying a lot.

oh people and their facebooks - so effing annoying sometimes.
