Need a mini rant
Now, I'm seeing several people on my facebook copying this into their statuses at the moment
"Shame on you ENGLAND !!!!!! the only country where we have the homeless without shelter, children going to bed without eating,the elderly going without needed meds and heating, and mentally ill without treatment - yet we donate £50 million to the people of Haiti ... 99% of people aint got the balls to copy and repost this"
I've seen versions where it's Britain or America that's the "only" country too. It's fucking pissing me off how STUPID some of my friends are!
NO, this country is NOT the only one where people are going without all this stuff. It happens in every place in the world. How fucking dumb are people???? I suppose they've never even heard of 3rd world countries ... or do they suddenly have clean running water, clothing, sewage treatments, food etc and no one's told me?
Fair enough if you're a "charity begins at home" type of person, but saying it's shameful to donate a handful of change to help people who've suffered a natural disaster makes me feel sick.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I might actually say something about it in my status if it happens again. I just can't believe how stupid people are! And they're my friends, which makes it all the worse!
