...She was pretty cool. We exchanged Facebook contacts, etc. The other night, we went...actually...to the Hard Rock Cafe near Federal Triangle. Jim's son collects Hard Rock items so we figured we would get a quick bite there. Additionally, there was not a lot open nearby.
Class has been relatively monotonous for the most part. No one really talks to each other in class albeit I managed to meet a few people here and there. As well, my Monday class is in Manassas which means it is primarily people who are middle to lower management, middle aged, white collar workers living out there. My Tuesday class is more interesting but it is a huge lecture. I have a bit more than an hour in between my Tuesday lecture and lab (hence me writing this) but I do not really know anyone here so there is not a lot of social interaction. As well, in the lab, no one talks because it is all computer - directed individual work.
In other news, I FINALLY started my new job as I alluded to a few posts ago. Monday was my first day where I met the people on site. Today, I was at the prime contractor's site in Rockville. It was just a regular day...
