Karin. Until the End of Everything. PG. 1/3empathapathiqueFebruary 14 2011, 06:13:48 UTC
She cannot stop herself from dreaming.
When he asks her to leave with him, it is as if a weight has been lifted from her chest. She is not a prisoner, not like the others. However, every shinobi under Orochimaru-sama's employ is not his own to want, for anything. She follows the monster without threat of torture because, truthfully, there is nothing else for her, neither village nor family to return to. To herself, she says, what the hell? Orochimaru-sama laughs, a sinister ku ku ku that twists along her insides, a boa constrictor ready to sink its fangs into the delicate skin at her nape

Karin. Until the End of Everything. PG. 2/3empathapathiqueFebruary 14 2011, 06:14:36 UTC
Karin doesn't understand, but she tells him okay, because this is the only thing that she can do for him. Her touch is unwanted, and any more words than necessary will only push him farther away. From her, and Juugo, and Suigetsu.
It is then that she realizes that she doesn't only want Sasuke, she wants them. She wants Juugo and Suigetsu, too. She wants Hebi. She wants a family. She wants to belong

Nothing matters to him.
Not Juugo, Suigetsu, Hebi, or her.
She is crying for him, bleeding for him, and he has fallen too far to even comprehend what it means.
When she closes her eyes, there is no dream. There is no Sasuke. His eyes, the last of the Uchiha, are filled with something other than the pride she once followed him for.
She will not follow the look in these eyes until the end of everything.
Three days later, she wakes up in Konoha three days later. They ask her about Sasuke, Orochimaru, Danzo, Madara, Sasuke, Itachi, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke.
She is reluctant only until she is fed, and they wonder aloud at betrayal.
"He is your teammate," they say to her. Her family. Her everything.
They don't understand. Even if blood is thicker than water, there is but so much she can spill before there is nothing left.
Her dreams are gone, and there is no more left. Not for Sasuke. She wonders, maybe, if there is something left for herself.

The message at the bottom is supposed to beg everyone's forgiveness for all the glaring errors in this, as I wrote it after midnight in about 40 minutes. First Naruto Fic!

(I know that this already got a fill, but I was halfway done with it and figured I'd finish it up! Much love for the Doctor Who quote! And sorry about commenting and deleting, but I realized I messed up my tenses! <3

I just -- I mean I want ppl to empower Karin. She is a fierce fucking bitch that gets mistreated mostly bc of the SasuSaku loving (ngl, I was sort of there for a while until I realized what happened). So yeah, I had to add that quote for her. I'm pretty sure I can write meta for how she and Martha are the same, just in different universes. And Martha fucking Jones did it and did it well when she said that. :D
But she still spares a moment to smile. YAYY FOR SUBLIMINAL PAIRINGS. OTP. I loved it. thanks so much!
and this is me, getting out
