Thanksgiving Weekend At The Falls
I went to Niagara Falls yesterday with my family. It's my second time going ever since I was like 9/10 years old? I don't quite remember.
Anyhow, I mainly wanted to go this time to see the night fall with the beautiful changing colour lights. However, it was very disappointing as you could barely even see the lights (they were not bright enough) and I got sick/tired of waiting because I've been there for literally the whole day from morning to late night until 8pm. Plus it was freezing cold standing nearby the falls at night so I eventually gave up and went home. However, I did get to see a beautiful DOUBLE RAINBOW during the day which was the highlight of my day spent there.

The falls at night which I waited nearly 2 hours for. Doesn't look pretty does it? It was quite disappointing as I was looking forward to see this the entire day and it did not live up to my expectations. =(
Besides going to see the falls, we also went to the casino for about 2 hours. I can't believed I got ID when I entered the casino. Really, do I not look like I'm over 19 years of age?! Played some slot games and won $10 and didn't want to play anymore before I start losing money. lol. Overall it was a pretty good day spent at the falls. We actually drove there this time and it took about 1.5 hours driving from downtown Toronto. Going home took much longer though since there was so much traffic on the highway.
I'm proud to say I have completed 1 thing from my 10 things to do 5 years from now list. I also saw this advertisement for Disney On Ice 100 Years Magic in celebration for their 100th year anniversary in the Chinese singtao magazine on Saturday. There is this discount price of paying $25 only for a $39 ticket. Offers ends on October 18th so I'm gonna call the number on the ad tomorrow and ask about the details and order tickets. I'm so excited! I'll be watching it during the Christmas holiday season. I'm making pretty good progress with my top 10 things to do in 5 years. Hopefully next year I can complete 2 more other things on the list which is a trip to New York City and hopefully a trip to Disney World too? Might be a bit too hopeful but doing either one within the next year will be good! =)
