I can't believe it's already Christmas tomorrow! To be honest, it doesn't even feel one tad bit like Christmas this year. The weather isn't really that cold and there's hardly any SNOW outside! Quite a disappoinment and boring Christmas I must say. I've been trying to get into the Christmas spirit by listening to Christmas songs and wearing my Christmas hat all day but it doesn't seem to help at all~ *sigh* Why does it not feel like Christmas?! I actually wish it was snowing right now.
The only more "Christmasy" thing that reminds me of Christmas is the pretty holiday decorations and lights on my street!
I LOVE walking down my street during the Christmas holidays because of all the pretty and beautiful decorations and lights in my neighbourhood. (These are not all the decorations & lights in my neighbourhood, I just took pictures of some that I thought looks most pretty, lol) There is usually a bus I take that stops really close to my house, but I always get off at a further stop before just so I could walk down my street at night while going home to look at all the pretty and beautiful lights on my street~
I was actually very tempted to ask my mom to put up our Christmas this year because we haven't put one up in years! But I got a bit too lazy and I don't know where exactly our Christmas tree and decorations are. I think they're kept somewhere in the storage room down in my basement. LOL. Maybe next year, I'll definitely try to get my lazy butt together and put up our Christmas tree because I miss having it up! Though removing all the deocrations and taking the tree down is a pain in the butt because our Christmas tree is quite big! Perhaps I can somehow buy a much smaller one to put in my room next year~
Anyway, I'm actually not spending Christmas at home tomorrow. I'll be going to a friend's house to celebrate and we're gonna be doing something "christmas related"?! I don't really know, lol. We don't really have a "plan" for this yet but all I know is I'm going over to her house. My friend just told me on the phone earlier that she has a surprise for me. =O I wonder what it could be! I'm actually kind of excited now, hahaha. And it's been way too long that I haven't spent Christmas at home. I feel kind of bad too since my parents actually wanted to celebrate Christmas this year. My mom even bought a turkey and red wine for Christmas!
I'll be home in the afternoon for the turkey but I won't be home in the evening for the red wine, LOL. I guess my parents can have a "romantic dinner" without me?! Hahaha.
My brother won't be home either because it's his birthday tomorrow, so he'll be out partying until...(I don't know even know when he'll be home). So basically my parents will be home in the evening all by themself! XD
