Yesterday's Outing
(trying to liven this place up again)
This is why I should not be allowed to go shopping by myself -__- I start off with a goal in mind and get distracted by shiny things
It was very rainy and drizzly yesterday so sadly sketches didn’t happen. I reckon I could have done some in the mall but man it was practically deserted. I drove all over Myrtle Beach yesterday, which I’m pretty proud of myself I’m usually a HUGE chicken about driving especially in the rain but by gollies I did it. It’s nice because honestly you don’t have to worry too much about getting lost, you just get to a point where the ocean is on your left side and you are like ” Okey doke now I just drive away from the beach ” and I will eventually come up on the main drag. Incidentally cruising the boulevard I get 80’s flashbacks I swear everything is still such such a neon-lighted LA knock-off mess down there I love it I hope it continues to stay just as tacky for the next hundred years. The older parts of Myrtle Beach are fun to drive around in.
The Dr, Who toy is for my little nephew who I am molding unto mine own nerdly image (He likes Dr. Who and has constantly asked for a toy of some sort) The loose leaf tea is Lemon Jasmine green tea and it is delicious, I was running low on tea.The purse I’m justifying it to myself because my current purse is tattered and frayed so I treated my granola-munchy side. Bonus it has PLENTY of room for a small sketch book and pens so yay for future en plein air adventures.
…I have absolutely no excuse for the shiny lounging pants except they were shiny and blue and swishy and I am hippie trash at heart.
I did really need that outing I feel greatly refreshed today so let’s see what I can do…
