I totally understand the whole I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS SHIT thing but times like these it's best to forgive yourself and be patient. Don't be one of those people and say 'oh. i haz artistz blockz.' and not do anything to break through for a year or more. Some people however rare have a genuine thing going on in their head that's chemical or emotional and it's NOT related to their talent at all but something they have to deal with in their lives an art just has to take a holiday. (Like myself in my life two years ago.)

But you, you're just having a case of being too critical and brain and hand not synching up properly. I'd get like that when I'd draw in one method for so long that it starts to distort and lose structure. Try doing gesture drawings, either by watching TV or going GASP OUTSIDEZ. Just quick little poses to get the rhythm of the shape down. Or draw something you don't normally draw. Like sketches of clothing, animals, or buildings. And I don't mean like go all out with it. Like quick five minute sketches to get the basic shapes. And the basic shapes don't necessarily need to be correct. Feel free to experiment. :3 You need to warm yourself up before you dive into drawing what you intend to.

YOU KIN DOO ZIS. AH BELEEF IN JOOOOOO~

thank jooooo @__@ and thank you so much for the suggestions. I have been employing them in all earnestness. Still struggling to break through the braincramp but I'm getting there! Totally will not let artist's block be an excuse to not continue trying :)
