Yeah? Well that's just the way things are. It *can* work itself out on it's own, but you're not necessarily going to like what you end up with that way. Or you can aim for what you want, but that takes dedication and patience. And LOTS of BOTH.
It's a normal thing to want more than you have. It's a good thing if you *expect* more than you have. It's a selfish thing, if you expect everything you want to "just happen because", or make everyone else do the lifting for it.
You say you're tired of other peoples' problems? Stop taking them on, plain and simple. If you can't, or won't, then you're obviously not THAT tired of them, then. And the "whole Bako-world goes to Mexico" gig was LAST week, BTW. Don't feel too bad, I didn't make it, either. :b
Safe, stable, loving. Oh yeah, that's what bars and Mexico are ALL ABOUT. 9.9 Sounds to me like you're looking for more "fun, uncertain, and exciting"; which you can't have, if you're entirely safe and stable. But that's a balance I've been working on myself lately, as well.
Also consider; love is not a "walk in the park" kind of simple thing. It's full of scruples and mistakes. It's full of fights and odd silences. It's full of scariness and insecurity. And in the right perspective, that's half the FUN of it.
