Back from a month long vacation that seems like eternity.
Haven't posted here in a while.
Today I made fruit tartlettes for the family dinner.
They're simple crust tarts with whipped cream and berries.

Crust recipe
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) very cold butter
1/4 cup ice cold water
2 drops vinegar
Sift together flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until the mix is crumbly, looking like large grain sand.
Mix water and vinegar. Add to the crumbs and fold several times, just until comes together.
Chill the dough.
Put in ungreased forms.
Bake tartlettes at 350F for 15-17 minutes.
If making one tart, bake at 375F for 20-25 minutes.
Makes seven tartlettes or one 9" tart
