All-American comfort cookes :)





Preheat oven to 200С/400F.

Beat together 1 cup butter, 1 1/2 cup sugar and 2 eggs.
Add 2 tsp cream of tartar, 1 tsp soda, 1 1/2 tsp salt and 2 3/4 cup flour
Mix well, roll into balls, 1 inch diameter.
Roll each ball in mix of cinnamon and sugar.
Place balls on pachment covered cookie sheet, leaving 1 1/2 inch between balls.
Bake for 8 minutes for soft cookes, 10 minutes for crispy cookes.

In half hour you'll have a dozen and a half warm, sweet cookes.
