So I went to the doctor today for the first time since I lost insurance which was 2012, I think. So my A1-C is WAAAAYYYY high, so I am back on Janumet, I am thankful for that. She upped my dose of Zoloft at my request. I have an appointment for a mammogram next month, and she will refer me to a gyno when I get her the name of the guy I saw last. My BP was crazy high when I got there (180/102) but it went down to 130/88 by the time I left. My weight is down a little bit which is nice and hopefully going back on the Janumet will help with more, plus I weigh less than Tom now so we get to go on a diet! ...and since she couldn't see my left eardrum they decided to flush my ear. I haven't been able to hear out of this ear for probably 2 years now. It took a good 30 minutes but she finally got it clear, lots of flushing and scraping the end of a q-tip, all stretched out, came out. A lot of gunk too, but ALLELUIA I can hear again! Of course after all that I got incredibly dizzy and had to sit for awhile, I also have a crazy headache that I am sure is because I can hear and I got dizzy.
It was also a beautiful day today. Sunny and 80. Tomorrow the temps are supposed to drop waaaaaay down.
