Happy Fourth everyone.
Kids are finally in bed, they wanted to watch fireworks outside and on TV and didn't want to give up cause they still heard them out side but it was already 11 (only 3 hours past bedtime mom). Argh! But mommy needs some peace and quiet now boys...GO TO BED!
Once they got into bed-only about 20 minutes ago, they went out pretty quickly. (I think they are already asleep, but I don't want to jinx it) I am just glad they aren't getting up and down. I think they are so quiet because James is in De's room. They go to bed so much easier in separate rooms...I need a bigger house. *sigh*
The girls are gone now. They are spending the night at my mom's because they are leaving at 5a.m. for the Vineyard. Two weeks without the girls. YEAH!
Of course this means two weeks of feeding my parents cat and taking care of there house and pool (not so bad), but it also means I have to go and work in my Dads' store for two weeks while they are gone. The girl he had working for him quit a few weeks ago, to make a quarter more an hour saying she wasn't getting enough hours-but she was given the opportunity to work 40hrs and wouldn't take them. So he has no one to keep the store open and so it falls back on good old Monica, because I know the business and I'll be here. Unfortunately I will be bored out of my mind, I have no clue if I will be able to get on the internet, I have no clue if I will have anything to do, I know there was nothing to do when I worked there 4 years ago-especially in the summer, and I know he changed his password to get onto the internet, so I can only hope I can figure it out. Tomorrow I have to bring the boys with me, because Tom has to go in early because his boss is sick and needs him to cover for him. that should be fun. *rolls eyes*
Enough bitching. Sorry.
