The other night I was talking to jn_oscargrouch how the scene in musical theatre that chills me most is the closing of Act One of Cabaret, when Cliff and Sally think they're goin' to a rockin' party and all of a sudden out come the Nazi armbands and "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" and, seriously, the hairs on the back of my neck raise just thinking about it.
And then tonight I'm having a great time at an Oscar party when someone makes a really homophobic remark and everyone agrees and I'm just waiting for the accordian music to kick up.
