Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot.
A/N: The plot came to me in a dream, or rather the first conversation between Jin and Yamapi in this story came to me through a dream a few nights ago. I had fun writing this so I hope you’ll enjoy this too, even if it might be a bit cliché XD
I have read through this a few times but there might still be mistakes that I’ve missed, but I hope it won’t be too much of a bother :/ And sorry for the cheesy title, I suck at naming my stories XD
Now enjoy my very first, but maybe not only, ever Pikame, (or if you’d rather call them Kamepi), story :D

”Is he hot?”
”Who do you mean?” Yamapi asked back into the camera. He was video chatting with this best friend who had just gone off to LA to study for a year.
“You know who I mean” Jin smirked at him though the webcamera. “You’re new room mate of course. The one now living in my old bedroom”
“Oh, you mean Kamenashi” Yamapi said and leaned out of his chair slightly so that he was able to peer through the gap of his doorway. His new room mate was currently sitting in the living area watching TV.
“So that’s his name?” Jin smiled. “Kamenashi, I like the sound of that. Kamenashi and Yamashita”
“Shut up” Yamapi muttered and sat back properly in his chair. Jin just laughed at him from the other end. “And he’s not that hot”
“Yes he is. I can tell you totally like him already” Jin laughed some more. “You always say that when you like someone”
“I said shut up!” Yamapi wished that he could just reach out his hands and strangle his best friend.
“Maybe you should’ve gotten yourself a female room mate instead” Jin was still smirking obviously not affected at all by Yamapi’s current fury.
“What do you mean?” Yamapi frowned and leaned over in his chair again to peer outside when he heard his room-mate laughing loudly and clapping his hands. Yamapi couldn’t help but smile at how Kamenashi was laughing with his whole body.
“It’d make it easier for you.” Jin said matter-of-factly. “I mean you’d never dream about doing anything dirty if it was a girl”
“Piss off” Yamapi showed Jin the finger. “And you’re just saying that so that you’d have someone to jump the minute you get back to Japan you horny bastard”
“Says the one who’s already having wild sex-“ Jin cut himself off when there was a knock on the door. “Wait a minute”
“Okay” Yamapi sighed and got up from the chair as he heard how Jin greeted someone in broken English. By the soft giggles coming from the newcomer Yamapi could tell it was a girl who had arrived which meant Jin wouldn’t be back for a while, if at all. He shook his head and then walked out from his room to make some coffee before he started with the readings he had to do for school tomorrow.

---
Yamapi was sitting by his desk reading when there was a soft knock on his door. He closed his book and took of his reading glasses before he answered.
“Come in “
The door was carefully pushed open and he wasn’t at all surprised to see Kamenashi standing there, a hand still resting on the door handle.
“I’m sorry if I interrupted you but I was just wondering if you want to have dinner with me. I don’t like eating alone, it’s boring to just make dinner for myself” he looked rather shy as the words spilled out of him rather rushed. It was obvious that he was still nervous about his new living arrangement, probably the first time he lived with someone who wasn’t family. From the brief interview Yamapi had with him before letting him move in he had learned that Kamenashi was doing his first year at university and his major was Japanese History. He loved baseball, enjoyed cooking and didn’t like it when it was messy. Yamapi hadn’t needed to know anything more and the next day Kamenashi had moved in.
“I’d love to!” Yamapi smiled brightly.”Do you need any help?”
“No, I’ll just call for you when it’s ready” Kamenashi smiled back and then left the room.
Yamapi was just about to return to his reading when his computer was signalling that someone was calling him on Skype. He looked at the screen and when he saw who it was he just disconnected it. Jin could wait until tomorrow and what was he still doing up anyway?

---
It became a habit that he and Kamenashi, or Kame that he had started to call the boy after a week, ate dinner together in the evenings if they weren’t busy with something else. It was always Kame who cooked and Yamapi would never dream about having it any other way. Kame’s cooking was worth every minute it took for Yamapi to do the dishes afterwards. However even though they had dinner together they didn’t speak very much, or at least not about things that mattered. Kame was rather reserved and never really mentioned anything too personal. Yamapi didn’t mind that much but it would be nice to know at least a little about Kame’s background. Especially since Kame so far seemed to be almost everything Yamapi wanted his ideal partner to be. Good looking, nice laugh and great skills in the kitchen.

---
“What’s that?” Jin asked pointing at the bowl of food Yamapi held in his hand.
“Leftover food since last night” Yamapi said his mouth stuffed with fried rice. “Kame’s not home today so he made extra food last night for me to have for lunch”
“You two seem to get along well” Jin commented leaning back in his chair. “But that’s no wonder since anyone who can make food earns your liking”
“Yeah, well what can I say” Yamapi took another bite. “I have to eat to survive. But that’s not everything I like about him”
“So you admit that you like him now?” Jin said leaning closer to the camera lens with a big stupid grin on his face.
“Yes” Yamapi said not feeling up to deny it any longer. It was completely righteous to like someone you’ve known for a month and that made you amazing food.
“I can’t believe what I hear” Jin half shrieked in surprise and Yamapi couldn’t help but laugh. Fried rice flew out of his mouth and landed on the screen. “Yamashita Tomohisa is admitting that he’s in love! I never thought I would live to see that day”
Yamapi stopped laughing abruptly.
“What do you mean in love?” He asked. “I’m not in love. I just like the guy”
“Huh? But that’s being in love, right? When you like someone as so much more than a friend” Jin frowned in confusion. “When you want to kiss and touch and make sweet, sweet love to them”
“I dunno. Can’t you want to do all those kinds of things and not be in love?” Yamapi asked back.
“Yeah, I guess. I mean I’ve not been in love with all the girls I’ve had sex with” Jin rested his chin in the palm of his hand and got a thoughtful daze in his eyes. “But that’s because most of the girls have been random hook ups on a night out. However if you like someone and think about doing those kinds of things with them then I am pretty sure you’re in love. You think about having sex with Kamenashi, right?”
Yamapi stopped eating for a second to collect his thoughts. Maybe Jin was right. He did like Kame, a lot and he did think about, well doing things with him. How could he not after accidentally walking in on Kame just as he was getting out of the shower. Yamapi had been so thankful that he and Jin never had gotten around fixing the broken lock because Kame’s body had been breathtakingly beautiful.

“You might actually be right for once in your life” Yamapi said slowly. With every word that came out he felt how something started to stir inside his stomach and his heart beginning to beat faster.
“Thank you!” Jin exclaimed and then looked rather confused again. “I think. Was that a compliment or an indirect insult?”
“Doesn’t matter” Yamapi smiled and then lifted the hand he was still holding his chopsticks with to place it on top of his beating heart. “I’m in love”
Jin laughed heartedly. “It sure seems that way” he smiled. “So, now, we just need to figure out how you should go about this. We need to work out a plan for your big confession.”
“Confession?” Yamapi echoed. “I don’t even know if he’s gay”
“He must be gay” Jin stated.
“And you base that on?” Yamapi asked amused over how sure Jin sounded but he hoped that Jin would be right for a second time in a very short time span.
“Just a gut feeling” Jin shrugged.
“Gut feeling” Yamapi was disappointed. “I don’t think I should go by that because last time, it leaded us to get chased down the street by some really angry bikers”
“I thought we agreed to never talk about that” Jin gritted his teeth but then flashed a bright smile a second later. “So, then the first thing you should do is to find out if he’s into girls or boys or both”

---
It was not easy to figure out where Kame’s preference lied since he didn’t speak much about personal matters. Sneaking into Kame’s bedroom to search for clues had given Yamapi nothing but guilt and not being able to look Kame in the face for several days. And not being able to do that sucked really badly because Kame had a beautiful face. A face that you shouldn’t be able to not look at unless you, like Yamapi had, done something you weren’t suppose to do. When Kame didn’t show any signs of suspecting that Yamapi had been in his room after a week Yamapi was relieved and slowly started to be able to face him again. Without feeling guilty and after all he hadn’t found anything that he thought Kame would’ve been mad about anyway.

---
When Yamapi came home from the library one Thursday evening in October he was surprised to see that for once Kame wasn’t alone. He had company. Something that had never happened during the six weeks Kame had now stayed with him. The way Kame and his company, a very pretty looking boy with sparkling eyes and pink t-shirt, were sitting close to each others on the couch while chatting and laughing loudly made something bad grow inside of Yamapi. He had been in a good mood when he walked home but that mood fell and landed with a crash on the floor. Who was this guy? What was he to Kame?

“Oh, hi” Kame smiled when he finally noticed him. Yamapi had only been staring at them for several minutes.
“Hi” Yamapi managed to get out without sounding too unfriendly. “What’s for dinner?”
“Dinner?” Kame echoed back and blinked at him.
“You haven’t thought about that have you?” Yamapi’s mood sank through the floor.
“No, I mean I didn’t know that it was already that late.” Kame replied and got up from the couch. “I totally lost track of time. I’ll run out and buy something for us”
“Don’t bother” Yamapi looked over at the other guy who was giving him a curious glance. “I’m not that hungry anyway. I’ll just go straight to bed”
“But-“ Kame wanted to protest but Yamapi just walked into his room and closed the door before he could say anything more.

He sat down on his bed, resting his elbows on his knees while he hid his face in his hands. He felt kind of guilty for being so rude at Kame, and in front of his friend or whatever the other boy was to Kame. He just couldn’t help it though. He was taken by surprise and the way Kame acted with the other boy; well it made Yamapi feel envious. Why didn’t Kame act like that with him? Why didn’t Kame open up to him? He sighed falling down on his bed and staring up at the ceiling. He fell asleep soon only to wake up a couple of hours later by his own stomach growling.

He padded out from his room to get something to calm his stomach with. The living room was empty, but there was light coming from underneath Kame’s bedroom door which told Yamapi that Kame was still awake. There were no sounds though so Yamapi figured Kame was alone now, probably studying. That made Yamapi’s mood rise slightly again and he smiled faintly as he walked into the kitchen. He was about to open the refrigerator when he noticed a plate on the counter, wrapped up and with a note on top. He let go of the handle and reached for the note.

I’m sorry if I did something to make you mad.
Please tell me what it was so that I won’t be
able to do it again.
I know you lied about not being that hungry
so I made sure to save some food for you.
Hope you’ll like it :)

Good night,
Kame

Reading the note made Yamapi feel guilty again. Kame had not done anything wrong, not really. He sighed as he un-wrapped the plate with food. It looked delicious, and smelled delicious. It tasted delicious as well when he took a bite of it. His guilt didn’t go away with the food like he had hoped though. Food usually managed to make him better but not this time. He finished it off quickly and then put the plate in the sink.

When he walked pass Kame’s room he stopped in front of the door. He raised a hand to knock on it but let it fall back to his side again before it touched the wooden surface and then walked into his own room instead. He lay down on his bed and reached for his phone on the bedside table. He sighed and then started to compose a message. It took him almost half an hour to finish it and press the send button.

To: Kame
I’m sorry I was rude.
You did nothing wrong.
I just had a bad day.
Thanks for the food.
It was yummy like
always!

He got a reply just a minute later; a very long minute later.

From: Kame
I’m happy and relieved.
I was so worried. Glad
you liked the food.
What are you doing?

Yamapi smiled and replied right away. His mood was quickly growing better with every second.

To: Kame
I’m about to go to
bed. How about you?
Studying?

Kame was quick to answer again and within a minute he got a reply.

From: Kame
No, I’m doing
something Yuya told
me to do. Yuya’s the
One who was here
earlier.

Yamapi was confused by the reply and slightly intrigued. What could it be that the pretty boy had told Kame to do?

To: Kame
What kind of thing?
And who is Yuya?
Your boyfriend?

Yamapi regretted sending the message as soon as he had pressed the send button. He had replied without thinking first and just let his fingers roam around the buttons. He threw his phone across the room in frustration and it landed on a pile of dirty laundry. Kame would think he was a freak now.

Fifteen minutes later a signal told Yamapi that he had gotten a new message. He took a deep breath, not sure if he wanted to read it but he couldn’t be completely sure it was from Kame. It could be from a classmate or Jin. He got down on the floor and crawled towards the phone. He sat down next to the pile and picked it up with his breath caught in his throat. He let the air out in a loud sigh as he saw that it was a message from one of his professors telling him that tomorrow’s lecture would be cancelled because of illness. Yamapi sighed again and was about to get up from the floor when he got a new message. The sound freaked him out and he dropped the phone on the floor with a thud. He looked down on it and gulped when he saw the name on the screen. He picked it up and with shaky fingers he opened the message.

From: Kame
No, he’s just my best
friend. He just told
me to write down my
thoughts. Said it’s
great when you’re
confused. He’s
studying psychology
so he should know.
I’m going to bed
now. Good night!

Yamapi was relieved to hear that the pretty boy was nothing but a best friend. That actually explained a lot. But what was that about being confused? What was Kame confused about? Yamapi wanted to know but he didn’t dare to ask. So he just sent a message where he wished Kame good night in return.

---
“So, have you figured it out yet?” Jin shouted through the computer. He was sitting in some kind of cafeteria and Yamapi saw how a few people was giving Jin curious and funny looks.
“No, not really” Yamapi shrugged. “But he didn’t seem upset when I sort of asked him right out if he was gay. Didn’t get a real reply though”
“What do you mean?” Jin shouted and looked confused and got a few more funny looks.
“Why are you sitting in a public place?” Yamapi asked instead of answering.
“Because I’m meeting a girl here soon” Jin grinned and straitened his back “Can’t you tell by my shirt?”
“No” Yamapi smirked.
Jin huffed but didn’t look that insulted. “So, to get back to Kamenashi. You asked him if he was gay but didn’t get a straight answer.” Jin chuckled at his own unintended pun.
“Sort of” Yamapi snorted. “I asked him if this guy he had over a couple of nights ago was his boyfriend and he said no”
“Oh, so who was the guy?” Jin leaned forwards with interest.
“His best friend” Yamapi said and then sighed. “But still, I don’t know what he likes”
“He’s gay” Jin concluded. “He didn’t get upset right? Then that means he didn’t get offended by being asked that. If someone asked me if I was gay then I would get pretty offended. I mean, do I look gay?”
“Even people who don’t look gay can be gay” Yamapi deadpanned. “I don’t look gay and girls like me”
“Yes you do, and girls only like you because you’re nice” Jin smirked. Yamapi chose to just ignore that statement. It wasn’t like he cared if what reasons girls had to like him anyway.
“So, now that we know that Kamenashi’s gay-” Jin continued with the original topic.
“We don’t know for sure” Yamapi cut him off.
“Well okay, now that we’re 99% sure that he is gay” Jin rolled his eyes. “It’s time to plan your confession”
“I can’t confess. What if I make a fool of myself?” Yamapi said not really feeling ready to confess yet in a very long time.
“Love is a game for fools. Love makes us act foolish” Jin grinned and then yelped as a pair of hands came from behind him and covered his eyes. A girl’s face appeared on the screen next to Jin’s and Yamapi knew that they wouldn’t speak anymore for this time. Jin’s date had arrived.

---
Yuya, or Tegoshi Yuya as Yamapi came to learn was Kame’s best friend’s full name, started to come over to their apartment several times a week. At first it bothered Yamapi a lot because he still felt a bit intimidated by him. The boy had known Kame for a long time, since pre-school, which meant that if he was a rival for Kame’s heart then he would definitely have big advantage over Yamapi.
So until the day he found out that Tegoshi actually had a girlfriend he kept a close eye on the boy. He asked if he could join them when he wasn’t busy or if Tegoshi would like to stay for dinner. When Tegoshi’s girlfriend then came up in a conversation it was as if a big burden fell from Yamapi’s shoulders. He had never been so happy to hear that someone had a girlfriend before. After that he stopped being paranoid over that and instead started worrying over something else.
He noticed how Tegoshi was often sending him strange looks. It was looks that Yamapi couldn’t read at all, and it confused him. He also noticed how a lot of times Tegoshi and Kame would suddenly go quite when he entered the room they were in like as if they had been talking about him. That was a crazy thought though and Yamapi soon dismissed it to his own mind playing tricks on him, because why would they talk about him so often?

A Friday evening in November Yamapi had been forced by his friends to invite them over. Ryo and Toma both were being extremely curious about Kame; Yamapi’s crush and roommate that hadn’t been introduced to them yet. They had been over before a couple of times but every time Kame had been out - mostly to study in the library. This time however they had made sure that Yamapi invited Kame to spend the evening with them. Kame had been a bit hesitant when Yamapi first asked him, but finally agreed. He didn’t have any other plans anyway.

“So you’re Kamenashi?” Ryo asked as he and Toma was let into the apartment by the young boy. Yamapi hadn’t been fast enough to get out from the bathroom to answer the door.
“Yes, Kamenashi Kazuya” Kame nodded looking rather uneasy as Ryo and Toma gave him a once over. Yamapi couldn’t blame him from where he was standing by the bathroom door.
“I’m Ikuta Toma” Toma then smiled and then held out a bag to Kame. “We brought some beer and snacks”
“Thanks” Kame took the bag and started to move towards the kitchen. “Please come on in”
“I’m Nishikido Ryo” Ryo finally introduced himself as he started to take of his leather jacket and Kame looked at him from over his shoulder with a soft smile gracing his lips.
“So, that’s your crush?” Ryo smirked when Kame was out of sight and Yamapi rushed over to put a hand over his mouth.
“Don’t talk about it here” Yamapi hushed. “He might hear you”
“He’s cute” Toma gave Yamapi an approving smile while he kicked of his sneakers. “Nice smile”
“He is, right?” Yamapi smiled brightly totally forgetting what he had told Ryo just a few seconds ago. “Every time he smiles at me my heart flutters” Yamapi sighed not caring that he sounded like a total fool. Ryo snorted and pushed Yamapi’s hand away from his mouth.
“You’re so gay”
“Like that’s something new. I came out to you guys years ago” Yamapi replied as he started to lead his friends into the living room.
“Yeah, but it’s when you act like this that I’m actually reminded that you prefer dudes over chicks”
Yamapi just smiled at him and sat down on the couch.
“You’re apartment smells different” Toma commented sitting down in the only armchair. “It smells like someone’s actually been cleaning recently”
“That’s because someone has” Kame answered before Yamapi got the chance, as he entered the room with a bag of snacks and a few cans of beer. “I do my best to keep it clean and fresh”
“Looks like you’ve gotten yourself a little housemaid Pi” Ryo smirked sitting down on Yamapi’s left side on the couch.
“It doesn’t make me any less of a man than you are just because I like my home to be clean and smell good” Kame snapped back and surprised them all. “You should think before you speak like that about me because my punches are nothing to joke about.”
“Ooh” Toma said and let out a low whistle. Yamapi was impressed by this side of Kame and it made him like him even more. He had expected the other to blush and not bite back like that. Plus he had learned something new; Kame could throw a punch if needed. That was something that you wouldn’t be able to guess from his appearance.
“Whatever” Ryo shrugged and tried to grab for one of the cans but Kame held them out of reach for his hands.
“Apologize.” Kame demanded.
“Like I would ever do that” Ryo snorted and got up from the couch “I can just go out into the kitchen and get a beer myself”
“Do as you please” Kame smirked and then handed Toma and Yamapi a beer each before taking a seat next to Yamapi.
“I like you already” Toma chuckled as Ryo walked out of the room throwing a finger at them from over his shoulder.

---
“I heard that you’ve introduced Kamenashi to the others” Jin said munching on a sandwich that was dripping with mayonnaise. “So when are you going to introduce me?”
“When you get back here?” Yamapi answered while listening for any sounds coming from the apartment. Kame wasn’t up yet but he could be up any minute, and hopefully he would still come and ask if Yamapi wanted some breakfast like he usually did on weekends. Unless he didn’t feel like shit today that was. He had gotten pretty drunk last night and fallen asleep with his head on Yampi’s shoulder. It had surprised Yamapi that Kame had been such a lightweight but he hadn’t minded being the sleeping boy’s pillow. Neither had he minded carrying the boy into Kame’s bedroom to tuck him in. Even if Kame was obviously dead drunk he still looked beautiful in his slumber.
“That’s too long” Jin complained throwing his arms up in the air and almost dropping his sandwich in the process. “I want to meet him know. I’m your best friend so you should’ve introduced me first”
“Well it’s your own fault that you went to LA” Yamapi shot back. “If you were here then you’d been here it’d be a different matter.”
“But if I hadn’t gone to LA you would never have met Kamenashi” Jin pointed out with a smug smirk.
“Don’t say that. I’m sure he’d caught my eye on campus” Yamapi said casually.
“Maybe, but whatever” Jin huffed and pushed the last piece of his sandwich into his mouth. “Is he at home? You should go and get him. I wanna meet him and I bet he wants to meet me too”
“He’s still in bed.” Yamapi said and got up from his chair to take a peek outside his bedroom just to make sure that was the truth. Yes, Kame seemed to still be asleep.
“Wake him up for me?” Jin pouted and tried out his puppy eyes.
“No” Yamapi looked away from the screen to not fall victim for Jin. “He needs the sleep”
“You’re boring” Jin snorted and crossed his arms over his chest. “And there really is no doubt that you love this boy because never before have you denied me anything”
“Yes I have.” Yamapi shot back. “I’ve denied you my food a lot of times”
“That doesn’t count” Jin argued. “Everyone knows your biggest love is and will always be food”
“That’s not true. I love Ka-” Yamapi cut himself off, surprised by what he was thinking of saying.
“Oh My God!” Jin half shrieked, half laughed. “You was about to say that you love Kamenashi more than food!”
“No I wasn’t!” Yamapi turned his face away again as his cheeks were definitely turning red. He could feel the heat in his face increase rapidly. How, when, how, when had he started to like Kame that much?
“Yes you were” Jin had calmed down but there was still laughter ringing in his voice. “Now we really need to work on a great confession. You can’t walk around like this any longer”

---
The plan was simple. Yamapi would the next time he saw Kamenashi walk up to him confess his love and then kiss him right on. Yamapi was a bit hesitant about the kiss but Jin said that that way he would at least be able to feel Kame’s lips once in case it turned out that Kame didn’t like him back. So to collect his courage Yamapi had sneaked out while Kame was still sleeping to take a walk. He walked for several hours only returning when he got hungry and noticed that he didn’t have any money with him. He entered the apartment as quietly as possible as to not draw any attention to himself. As he closed the door behind him he noticed a pair of by now very familiar brown boots and then he heard the voices coming from kitchen. Tegoshi was there, again and the two best friends were having what sounded like a pretty serious conversation even though Yamapi couldn’t make out any words. He shuffled out of his sneakers and put his coat away while trying to hear what was being said. He knew it was wrong to eavesdrop but he was too curious to care, especially since he had managed to snap up his own name being mentioned. Carefully he sneaked closer to the doorway but he wasn’t looking where he put his feet and before he knew it he was falling forward. He flailed with his arms in a sad attempt to regain balance but fell with a loud thud down on the floor and groaned in pain at the impact of the wooden floor. The scratching sounds from chairs being pulled out told him that Kame and Tegoshi for sure had heard him, but of course they would’ve, and soon they appeared in the doorway.
“What happened?” Kame asked kneeling down next to Yamapi.
“I stumbled over something” Yamapi muttered and looked around the area. His eyes locked on his own bag a couple of feet away. It must’ve been that that had hindered him from further eavesdropping.
“We didn’t hear you coming” Tegoshi said from where he was still standing in the doorway. His arms were crossed over his chest and he was looking at Yamapi with leery eyes. It made Yamapi feel uneasy and he tried his best to ignore the piercing eyes while fumbling with coming up with a good excuse.
“We probably were into deep in our conversation to hear him” Kame said and Yamapi was happy to be saved like that even if it was most likely unintentional.
“Maybe” Tegoshi replied but still eyed Yamapi with suspicion. “Well I guess I should leave now”
“Okay” Kame nodded and left Yamapi’s side to follow Tegoshi to the door and hand him his coat.
“Remember what I told you” Tegoshi said to Kame as he stepped into his boots and then looked over Kame’s shoulder to lock his eyes on Yamapi who was still on the floor. “It’ll be alright”
“I hope so” Kame glanced over at Yamapi and he was sure that the friends were talking about him. He didn’t know if it was in a good or a bad way though, he hoped it was the first one. He watched them as they then bid each other goodbye and shared a quick friendly hug.

“I like you” Kame said after closing the door, hand still on the door handle and his back facing Yamapi.
“What!?” Yamapi asked back in shock, his voice slightly high pitched. He wasn’t sure if he had heard it right.
“I’m in love with you Yamashita Tomohisa” Kame said sounding nervous but very sure with what he was saying. Still he didn’t turn around to face Yamapi and instead kept on talking into the wooden surface of the door. “I’ve been from the moment I stepped inside this apartment and met you. I guess you’d call it love at first sight and that’s why I might’ve acted a bit I dunno, cold? Reserved?  I didn’t know how to act around you because I was afraid you’d kick me out if you knew. Yuya encouraged me to tell you though so that’s what I am doing. I love you.” Kame paused, taking a deep breath before he continued and Yamapi listened to him in astonishment. “Of course if this totally creep you out, then I can move out right away. I can move over to Yuya’s place, he’s already told me it’d be okay.”
Yamapi quickly scrambled up on his feet and rushed over to Kame. He wrapped his arms around the smaller body from behind in a tight embrace, feeling how Kame tensed up a little.
“It don’t creep me out” he smiled as he nuzzled his face into Kame’s soft hair. He smelled of peach and soap and something Yamapi couldn’t really point out what it was. “So there’s no chance of you moving out. I won’t allow it because I like you too much. I’m in love with you too Kamenashi Kazuya”
“Really?” Kame whispered finally turning around to face Yamapi and their faces ended up just an inch apart.
“Really” Yamapi smiled and leaned in closer so that their noses were touching. “I really, really, really, really like you a lot”
Kame blushed slightly but then adjusted the angle of his head so that their lips could meet in their first kiss.

---
“How did it go?” Jin asked a couple of days later when they were video chatting again.
Yamapi smirked but didn’t reply before he reached out for Kame who was standing of screen so that he ended up in his lap.
“Jin, meet Kamenashi Kazuya” Yamapi said wrapping his arms around Kame’s middle and planting a kiss on his neck. “My new boyfriend”
“I knew it would work out great” Jin said proudly and then waved like silly at them. ”Hi, I’m Akanishi Jin; Yamapi’s best friend. Nice to finally meet you”
“Nice to meet you too. I’m Kamenashi Kazuya; Yamapi’s boyfriend and room mate” Kame waved back and Yamapi couldn’t help but chuckle as he tightened his hold around Kame’s waist a little. Kame then turned around slightly in Yamapi’s hold to better face him.
“Now that we’ve met can I go back to preparing the dinner?”
“Yes, but first this” Yamapi grinned and pulled Kame closer by the shirt. He totally ignored Jin's protests as he leaned in gave Kame kiss.

The end.
