This was my first week back and I am not looking forward to the rest of this semester. I don't like my classes, which makes it very difficult to want to study when you don't like the subject matter. My schedule is pretty bomb though. Only have class Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and my only class on Monday starts at noon. Not too bad. I'm taking a microbiology lab (probably my favorite class since I have an odd obsession with microbiology), religions of the west, programming proposal development, health and wellness (online), and beginning aerobic exercise. The religions of the west class is a 100 level "philosophy" class, however it should be more like a 300 level class. My teacher assigns soooo much reading every night. And it's not easy material either, it's so dense and hard to understand. And very hard to be motivated to read it all in a timely manner.
My break was pretty wonderful. Extremely needed. I was getting so stressed with my classes last semester that I developed migranes that I would get almost daily. But once I was on break, I didn't have one migrane! Which was fabulous. 3 of my girlfriends and I went to Philadelphia and NYC for New Years Eve. One friend goes to school in Philly 3 of us flew out there on December 30th and then took the bus the next day to NYC. We did the whole Times Square thing and froze. It was raining and snowing and very chilly. But luckily we came prepared with umbrellas, ponchos, and Chipotle. As it turns out, people do not like being around you when you come prepared and they don't. They get very nasty with you and leave. We took the bus back to Philly on the 1st and played there for the remainder of the trip. It was so much fun! I had a blast! And of course, drank way too much.
Things with David have been going very well! We have so much fun everytime we hang out. He was going to come up here last night and stay the night, but his flight left earlier than he thought for Boston today. He's going to Boston for work for a week. :-( I can't wait to see him again! He makes me giddy!
I went for my yearly physical and my doctor found early signs of cervical cancer. So she took two biopsies this week. She said my body should attack and kill the virus over the next several years. So I'm hopeful!
I need to clean my room up before Liz gets here. And then I need to run to the store and buy some groceries since I'm making dinner for us tonight. And I should really get some reading done. I've been putting that off for far too long. But my guess is it won't get done, haha. Off to be domestic!!
