in case anyone interested (and searching WWW for it), i made from scratch Windows wmi provider dll supporting correct inventory of really connected monitors by parsing its EDID block data from registry (official setupAPI way used for this) and translating that information to WMI class data (used read-edid project by Matthew Kern (poly-p man)).
