What a particularly delightful score David Newman's Jingle All the Way is!!! The music sounds like an impossibly cheerful action movie; it rivals David Shire's Max Dugan Returns in its good-naturedness! While I tend to like Newman's comedy scores, this one is exceptional.

I have gotten my Firefly DVDs back from Tim and am currently going through the commentary tracks. It's interesting how familiar one becomes with certain commentators after spending a few hours with them over time. This is certainly one of the main reasons why Terry Gilliam tends to provide commentary tracks that I like; he has a familiar address ( Read more... )
