EDIT: Since I've been taken to task about this entry six ways to Sunday already since I posted it, I wish to explain that I had just spent three hours searching through the slim pickings for alternatives to the iPod should my iAudio go bad. I have located a replacement battery for the iAudio. This means that there would be no advantage to getting the iPod... I just now have to find a replacement control stick for the item and I'll be totally happy with it again. I really can't express how much easier life is with the remote control. One of my favorite aspects of the iAudio X5 chassis of Artoo - the reason I chose it above all the competing players - is the very useful remote control, which is reminiscent of the one I had for the iRiver mp3 CD player I had back in the day ( Read more... )

Hm. Yoinked this one from cookie_girl, watched the Weird Al video (which was hysterical) and took the quiz here... I think the problem was the specificity of the questions. It was too much about the exact details of the video rather than what those things really imply. ...no it ain't on the iPod. That ship has sunk. It's on an iAudio X5 60 gb with the Rockbox software. There is no danger with the installation of the Rockbox onto iAudio equipment because it installs exactly the same way as the native software, and you can always just remove it if you so desire with no effect on the included files (in fact, the ( Read more... )
