April Showers
It's been gloomy and wet lately. I'm missing the crisp, warm, sunny days we were having last month. At least they'll be back soon. And even though we had snow last week, it stayed warm enough that the blossoms on are tree are still okay! Also, a new robbin has been visiting the nest, fixing it up a little, and I think he will be moving in soon.
Today's going to be kind of a busy day. I went to the dentist this morning to get a cavity filled. Thankfully it was a small procedure, just one tooth, and I didn't have to get shots in the muscle the way I did the last couple times (which hurts like heck!) However, the side of my jaw is aching really badly, and I haven't been able to find the asparin. ;~; Then at five I have orientation for my new job. I hope the ache will have gone away some, or it's not going to be much fun. It'll be good to finally have some money again.
And it's about time I introduced you all to Miss Alice Clarissa! I found her last month at an antique store, and finally have some good pictures of her. She's in really nice condition, asides from a tiny scar on her forehead (but she hides that behind her bangs). I think her lovely pink dress was handmade, too. I hope to sew her some underclothing and pajamas soon, and perhaps a coat to wear out when the weather gets nice again!
