So drinking a cup of coffee quickly before a ballet is a bad idea.
I had the hardest time sitting still.
I can't say I'm much into ballet, but I've been going to see my old boss's daughters peformance of the Nutcracker for at least 5 years now, so I wasn't going to miss it.
They were happy to see me, they get such a kick out of the fact that I show up, it's always great to see them and this was one of their last years. So she's already told me that she wants to sit next to me next year.
They were suprised that I didn't bring anyone.
Like it's so bizzare that I'm not dating anyone at the moment.
I guess I don't get why people think that's strange.
It was probably better that I didn't bring someone, given that I couldn't sit still, it probably would have been annoying for them.
The other thing that I couldn't understand was why my old boss was so blow away by my "style" or "hip look" I forgot how she put it, but apparently she was so into it that she commented enough to the girls that they commented to me.
I don't really dress to impress anyone other than myself, unless maybe if I'm going to an interview, but I guess if other people are that impressed all the better.
I don't look too much different than I did last time I saw them, guess my hair is getting longer since I haven't had any real reason to cut it, but for the most part I just figured I looked like Snape with a different wardrobe or something.
So yeah anyway, the actual ballet, well that's not a terribly interesting story, it was kind of cool that they changed things around a bit, but since ballet isn't really the kind of stage show I prefer I was mainly there because the girls really seem to appreciate it.
Next year I should probably bring someone though, they seem to get an extra kick out of that.
Any of you guys like the Nutcracker Ballet?
