Dude. This has been one productive day, to say the least. I turned in my job application to Jamba Juice (hopefully I'll get it!) and went to the library. I had to pick up a book to read for AP History. Now that the test is over, he's making us do a book report. I'm reading "The Social Contract" By Rousseau. Anything philosophical sounds good to me. I almost picked up something by Freud, but they only had full collections of his work, not just one book...and I don't wanna read a billion pages for a book report. Also at the library (YAYYAY practically my favorite place ever) I got "The Dick Cavett" show collection of musical guests (Super excited to see some Jefferson Airplane and Janis Joplin!), some of the DVDs of "The Avengers", as well as two blues compilation CDs. Ya see, we went to breakfast at Red Tractor, which plays a ton of early country, blues era type stuff, similar to what Bob plays on Theme Time Radio. So, that always makes me want to listen to more, hence me checking out the CDs.
And after I got home, I messed around on guitar a bit and decided...why not, record some riff I've been working on. Yay for Garage Band! Lol, so the quality is really bad because of all the fans going in the background. Oh, and...I don't exactly have a first verse, so I threw in one really quick.
"
I Wish It Was Cloudy" - by me :P
If'n you'd like, you can take a listen. Haha, I even added in some effects and harmonies. :P So much fun to play with. Lulz, I so high tech.
I certainly do more over the weekend then I do at school. ^^
Also, I decided just exactly what to do with my hair this summer. This comes from my absolute loathing of ponytails and the necessity of needing my hair up because of hot weather.
I've been seeing German Braids around a bunch of fashion editorials and stuff. It's certainly more interesting then regular braids, which I'm sure I'll end up wearing this summer too. Pigtail style though, because, for some reason, I really hate ponytails. >.
Ps- Plz to be not throwing tomatos at me, Y/Y
