"Oooh, she's a little runaway..."

After this, I'll work on my essay, I swear.

We had our first track meet after school today. It sounds like so much work, but there's down time out the hey ho in reality. I ran alright for a first meet of the year. Room for improvement, but of course, still coming in good placing like a good senior should. :P I ran the 1600 m, 800 m, and the 4x400 relay. I still can't believe I'm back doing track again. It seems like forever ago. Well, this year I'm one of the team captains, so I have to do well, lol.

In English class, our teacher made a few of us read our tales. For the most part, they were humorous, dealing with inside jokes about teachers and things. :P But my friend's and mine were serious. Haha, oh man, my peers must think something awful of me. What do they hear of me but my tales of murder, Poe speech for speech meet last year, and voiced enjoyment of Crime and Punishment. Ahh, but all that is fascinating.

Also today, representatives came and visited our class about some Christian College in Florida. WOW, it seemed scary. It was like a creepy cult commune. We spent a good portion of the next class talking about it. Our teacher had to visit it for a speech meet one time, so she was telling us about all their strict rules. It was insane how little rights girls had within the campus. It was basically like being pushed back 100 years. The girls in the video they showed all wore plain skirts and longer sleeved shirts with no makeup. And the guys with their silly dress pants, just as blaze'. It's a wonder why these things exist. But then again, my teacher made a good point about it being a step up from homeschooling. I'm very grateful that I'm picking the collage that I'm picking.

Ps- Popol Vuh is good music for background, chill, or homework. It's spiraling, yet calming.
