"You like the feel of steel..."

Duct tape day = WIN! A bunch of other people dressed up in all duct tape, but there was still the majority of losers that didn't dress up. We did have baseball players, and my friend dressed in all duct tape ninja gear! And another friend made the best dress suit and matching duct tape fedora. Yeah...my class rocks!

Me in full costume! I really like that dress. Would wear again.

Also, the flip flops

The back. I just...duct taped myself in, lol.

Headband detail. And the bag's all sorts of awesome. I'll use it again, to be sure. It's just a taped over canvas bag with added pocket.

The dress on the hanger. It's rewearable. I'm sort of surprised, but just take more duct tape and tape the flaps in the back down again. :P

The flip flops! Rewearing for sure.
Yep, I wish I could wear duct tape clothes all the time and not feel weird doing it. You know, I was thinking about it and I figure that those brave people who dress up in odd clothes really do inspire me and brighten my day. So, why can't I be that person who DOES dress up in all duct tape one day. I really want to be that crazy person on the street that my saying hi to someone will be event enough to add to their journal entries. Well not the crazy person, but the different, interesting person, you know?

Rain, how I have missed thee for...uhm...all of yesterday.

In speech, we have to deliver speeches about another person in the class. Since the girl I'm writing about wasn't there, I got to be interviewed the whole time. The guy who's writing his speech about me is also a musician, so we had a good time talking about piano lessons, druggy concerts, and college. He's intent on writing music, but in going the "artists aren't scholars" method. He says that most musicians/artists drop out of school in order to pursue their craft. I didn't tell him so, but I'm convinced that the opposite is true. Renaissance men followed their craft, yet were intelligent. He did use the reasoning that the musically technical people (he said asians, lol. Racist but for the most part true, ok?) are not the sort of people you see in popular rock bands. It is true, but do I want to go that direction? I really have to ask myself my own intent. Man, I keep causing myself to doubt my own future...
