"You're the left side, he's the right side, o-o-no"

Finals are over. Don't you love the middle of the night, though, where the morning's happenings seem like they're days behind you? It's absolutely fascinating and shows the point of the subjectivity of something as constant as time. I like to think that gives hope for subjectivising other cruel constants, such as distance. :P Besides the point, my AP History final was pretty easy, in that my friend and I studied like crazy the previous afternoon. And the Physics final...everyone's sure they failed. Haha, yay curved test scores! So I'm not going to worry much about my grade in that class...because, again, subjectivism of a constant. Oi, I'm starting to sound like a textbook with all these long words defining certain points. Man, am I glad studying for those crappy things is over!

After exams, I went with my mom and brother to lunch, then the thrift store and 99 cent store to get things to wear for spirit week. The Spirit Week themes this year are as insane as they were last year (what with Thrift Store prom last year...fun stuff!) Monday is "-er" Day, where you can dress up as any profession ending in -er. I'm going to be a hairdresser. Haha, yes, from the 80s, too so it should be outlandish and amusing. Then Tuesday is Duct Tape Day. I've already gotten started making a duct tape dress. So far, I have a really huge t-shirt that I cut down the back and just taped in place in my size. Then I've covered most of it with silver duct tape already. It's just hard to reach the top of my back for duct taping. And YES, I was duct taping myself in to this magnificent concoction. Then I cut it down the back again so I could get out. So I'm still working to add stripes of black duct tape (like Pattie's wedding dress! ^^) and maybe make the skirt a bit longer. And then I'm going to go ballistic adding accessories made of duct tape. Haha, like a bag, a necklace, headband maybe, flipflips, and anything else I can think of. :P Wednesday is Senior Citizen Day. I'm going to wear an outlandishly printed skirt, with a showing slip and scrunched knee-highs, along with a granny square shawl, a hair net and gigantic clip-on earrings. :P Mhmm, I'm going to have a fun time with that one. Thursday is Pattern Day: Floral. Each class has a pattern and that's ours. So I'm just going to go all out with the flowers. Easy enough. And Friday is Class Theme Day: Cirque du Senior. So I'm going to come as a lion tamer! Yeah, we found a bright red jacket at the thrift store. I'm going to add some gold buttons and trim to it. I'll have a plushie lion and a chair, haha. I really can't wait until spirit week!!

And of course, tomorrow (today?) is the Homecoming shindig. Venetian Masquerade is the theme. So I get to wear my grey dress and my gorgeous black, lace mask. ^^ And I found an amazing pair of short, beaded gloves at the Thrift Store today, so I might wear those with my dress. I also found some ace shoes at the Thrift Store to wear with my dress! Yeah, good finds. ^^

One of the more fun things about going to the thrift store with my mom is coming home and having her say "Oh, i have something like that in my closet!" or "We used to wear these in the 80s..." :P So, today, she dumped about six pairs of her 80s heels on me. ^^ I'm super excited! There are these bright red wedges, her shoes she got in Italy, Black boots, more random pumps... She even found more old kerchiefs that people are wearing like those Hindu prayer shawls. Ak, I'm super excited!

Ps- In real life, I'm really not this ubertastically ecstatic about clothes, honest. I just need a place to vent this all, haha.
