A friendly announcement

...that all the best dresses reside in my closet. ^^ Yeah, sometimes you just need to remind yourself that you're sitting pretty pretty. Literally. :P So, under the cut I have all my homecoming dresses, and other random dresses that are shoved in the back of my closet awaiting an invitation that says "formal" on it...but it never comes. :(

It just goes to show that:
You can't always get what you want...but you do sometimes.

picture time...

This year's homecoming dress!

I dunno whether or not to do the gloves or not. I mean, I *LOVE* the dress with the gloves, but I've done gloves every year. :P

Also, I'm going to do my hair in a 40s pageboy style. Styled down, but all done up.

The bottom part reminds me of Belle's dress from 'Beauty and the Beast'

This dress I found for half off, so I'm going to use it for Senior Banquet

I'm going to use the gloves and a borrowed pill-box hat to pull off a very Jackie Kennedy look. ^^

Yes, that should be fun.

Oh me oh my. This dress/shirt was on sale yesterday. Uhm, it's surprising how many minidresses I do, in fact, have if I dig through my shirts. YAY 60s!

Whoa, deja vu (and not the album). This was my Sophomore year homecoming dress.

So you can see the bottom poofy part a bit more

This was last year's homecoming dress. Haha, I've worn it out for taking pictures with friends and stuff besides that, though.

And yes, the gloves made their reappearance at that homecoming as well.

For spirit week last year, the theme was Thrift Store Prom. This was the one I wore to school

The sad part was that everyone laughed at me for such a "great" dress. I actually really dig it. :P

Believe you me, Joni Mitchell's so jealous.

You know that hippie girl group from "That thing you do"? haha... I should have taken this one outside. It's so green out. :P

I got this one from my Korean aunt. Heehee, so this is my asian inspired face. ;)

Vintage 60s dress from my great-aunt!

Ak, yes, I need to ask and see if she has any more great dresses to give away.

Yay for Target making reproduction 60s minis!

Where have you seen this blatantly ripped off pose? Yesyesyes, Pattie Boyd. ^^

Yeah, again. I'm that cool.

The "reject" thrift store prom dress. I love it and wish I could actually wear it out. It came with a blue veil looking thing too, so I'm pretty sure it was a bridesmaid dress.

In all actuality, I channel Cher pretty well. You should have heard me singin' "I got you babe"!

Lol, I call this picture "Cher does not approve". XD Yeah, it's sad how much I make myself laugh...

Really, where is that Sonny?

I love my kimono mini. ^^

POSE!

This one's from H&M. Modern color, but still a mini.

Yeah, see on the side where the fabric is connected in a circle shape. It's fun, but always feels like my slip's riding up. >.<

My mommy made me this dress for last year's birthday. It's plain, but fun with the gloves, I found out. ^^

Oh, and the belt is from the depths of my mother's 80s closet. :P

Okok, this dress is from target and looks adorable with a black collared shirt with poofy sleeves like I usually wear it. This way...uhm...no.

Pea coats are surprisingly good minis. I love seeing just a half inch of kicky skirt underneath them. ^^

See!

What I wore today plus this scarf that my mom found, again, in the depths of her closet.

Haha, what I usually do.

So besides digging through my closet and being a camera whore, I've been stressing A LOT about finals. I'm probably going to fail my Physics one... I will try and study. Who knows what miracle can happen?
