Oh school, school. I'd really be a much more happy person if I hadn't the need to go to school. >.< It's just the schoolwork, really.
An alumni from two years ago came in and talked to us about her roommate issues. Her roommate would come in all drunk, then made drug pastries with her peanut butter, invited her boyfriend for a night, and just really mean things like that. Oi. Somehow, that's one of those things that you never imagine happening. Haha, well, I did find it funny in the sort of demented take on the world that I have.
I honestly have nothing to update about. *shock of all shocks* And this is the one afternoon I actually got cracking on my homework early. Coincidence? I think not. What have I learned from this: do your homework late; you'll be more interesting. ^^
Anyways, in Art class, I'm working on colourising my psychedelic sketch of the man and woman looking at each other. I'm anxious to see how it'll turn out. I'll need to finagle with the colors a few times, I'm sure.
I hate doing really amazing things, then coming to school and nobody cares. I told a few people that I saw the hilariousness that is "Sgt Peppers" by the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton...and they were like "oh, mmhmm, that's nice". >.< People need to get with it, sheesh.
Why is my icon so mesmerizing? Seriously, I don't think I'll ever tire of it. ^^ "Rock and roll...mm"
The Bell Jar! Yay of all yays. I think I'll go upstairs and read that when I get kicked off by my brother, as I undoubtedly will. And I've narrowed down my next book to read down to three. Mostly, it just depends on how easily I can get them. They're Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, Clockwork Orange, and Wonderful Today. Well, in all honesty, I might just skip out on Pattie's book. I already know her story quite well, lol. Plus, I've been wanting to read the other two for eons now. Clockwork Orange? Mostly because I want to see the movie. They shouldn't make movies off of books until I read them. That's going to be another law I institute if I ever can. *writes down*
I'm really missing the food in Europe. English style Indian Tikka Messala, Pasties, and that salad they served us in Paris with the most amazing goat cheese ever (and I usually don't like cheese). Guh.
My mom went to Target...without me. But she did get me stuff. I love that...coming home to see that my mom's gotten some shirt on sale or something for me. This time, she found some black heels (I'm addicted to pumps) and a jumper dress. The dress ran a bit large, so she's going to return it to get another size. Ugh, I really am something out of a fashion magazine. I'm addicted. >.< Dresses, pumps, eye makeup, anything sixties... What I would give for an an entire vintage wardrobe. You know, our class was thinking about spirit week themes and I am totally going to push for Psychedelic Seniors. :P Haha, or Psych-Ward Seniors. I'd be that mean nurse from "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", lol. I was thinking maybe Simon and Garfunkel Seniors... so we could all wear Art styled fro wigs, tee hee. Another awesome theme is Sincerely, Seniors. Then we could all dress up as famous poets and authors! Hmm...to dress as Jane Austen or Sylvia Plath? :P I honestly think we might end up as Seafaring Seniors, though. *le sigh* I do love psychedelic seniors! Or, lol, Synthpop Seniors. HAHA, or if you want to be more specific, Safety Dance Seniors or Flock of Seagull Seniors. XD Instant win, I know. Oh, I do have fun just making up the different themes (like Geology Juniors...they'd rock *bad pun* or Fruit of the Loom Freshmen, LOL). My brother was just joking and said Sean Connery Sophomores in a total impersonation of him. :P
I'm really in the mood for a good conversation, but I can't really turn on IM, now can I...with the impending threat of my brother in need of dear gaming time. *turns on IM anyways*
