Bored...in the heat of the summer...
Yay posting! So, pretty much I'm really bored right now...
We had awards today. That's where all the teachers hand out awards in all the classes and you go up and get them and stand on the risers while people take pictures of you. I got some in every class, except drama (which doesn't have awards). Heh, go figure. So, I was walking back and forth up to the front of the room, back to my seat, clacking all the way there. Yeah, I decided to wear heels. They're fun, but not for trying to get up there fast on hard flooring. >.< The CLACKING! No matter how hard you try, it always happens. Anyways, they even had awards for the speech meet. That was kinda cool. It seemed like I'd gone up there for every single English part of the awards cuzza Creative Writing, English, and Speech Meet. And we also got our report cards! I did end up having a B and C+ in my Chem and Adv. Math finals, but I still got all A's in quarter and semester. Like I said, weird teacher. Man, people must think I'm some sorta whiz kid. I'm not, I assure you. Seriously, everyone just thinks I am. And I'm getting really sick of it. Misunderstood genius/artist sounds way too cheesy, though. I'm just me. I understand myself. Shame nobody else does. >.< You ever try to do that? Think of a label/name/situation/example to describe something about you? They never work. It just makes the process so much harder.
My brother invited some friends over to do an Air Soft war. Thankfully, that takes place outside. :P Ugh, it's so hot out... Why can't it rain? Grey's such a beautiful color if you stare into it hard enough. In the heat, all you want to do is sulk about and eat ice cream. It's not good for you. Besides, everyone's tempers run really short. I think that's my least favorite part. >.<
Anyways, one of the ways I've been keeping the boredom at bay is looking through the galleries at 60s fashion sites. I ran across an Anita Pallenburg gallery. They had the descriptions about the pictures of her and the Stones and little stories about her relation with all of them. It's so sad! Reading about her and Brian Jones and how they'd beat each other... But I loved reading the parts where she'd be critiquing the Stone's work! :P She'd help write songs too! She really is a cool person. Oh, I spend too much time reading up on rockers and their wives. But, it's so much fun to imagine myself amongst them. (the rocker or the wife, either way) ;) You lovely ladies can relate to that sentiment, surely.
Oh no, I'm gaining more and more fandoms...this can't be a good sign.
...On to the rest of my boredom. I think I might catch up on homestar or something.
Oo, I still wanted to print that poster. Any suggestions for a picture to use???
I cannot stinkin' wait until we leave for Europe on Tuesday! *spazzes*
