"I can't hide, I can't hide..."

The one day I actually decide to *practice* piano, the music building is locked. >.< Go figure.

It's cold outside. The sky is grey, I pull up my jacket sleeves so they cover my hands, and I try to brainwash myself into channeling my shivers into positive thoughts. For the longest time, I would look up at cloudy skies and use what people would think is a negative thing (being cold) and make it inspire me. ...Man, I'm more into this mythical mind tricks thing that I thought I was. It makes perfect sense, though. And it's not some voodo thing. I just really like clouds is all.

I went to the library today with my Humanities notes so to study for my final tomorrow. I'm really not too scared about any of my finals, really. (except my piano jury!!!1!) And I ended up browsing the non-fiction section...picking up books and reading segments. I flipped through ancient Roman clothing drawings, street fashion books, and ultimately sitting down and reading Pattie Boyd's "Wonderful Tonight" for oh...two hours. Now, all I want to do is prance about King's Road, London and go to wonderful shops like Hung on You and Granny Takes A Trip. All in all, I think if I were to have met Pattie back in the day, I would have found her to be a bit thick in the head...but all in all could have been her friend. She likes a good joke, fashion, and is open to suggestions to refine her taste. (Trying avacado for the first time? Honestly, girlie...Somebody needs some recommendations) Ahh, but the George parts were written with a smile on her face, I can tell. I can just feel the schoolgirlish excitement through the pages. It almost made me squee aloud...in the library! Thanks a lot, Pattie.

Ohh the sixties...

Last night, I stayed up late watching Whose Line Is It Anyway clips on Youtube. Man, I love that show. I've had the Hoedown piano riff stuck in my head ALL. DAY.

Now I need to actually go study! >.< Gah.
