"The band slows and turns to stone"
Looking back to the beginning of this, my first semester of college, I realize I have learned A. LOT. I'd been told I'd really enjoy college and you know what? It's tough...but I've learned so much through it. Fate's a crazy animal.
Weekends go by too fast. I spent Friday working on my paper, Saturday watching movies and IMing, and today hanging out with my friends Russell and Kevin. They got a bong and spent yesterday smoking it in Kevin's room. *facepalm* Lack of common sense much. And Kevin's always going on about how he's got to stop... Haha, I'm just glad I have other friends besides them here on campus. We had an awesome time being dumb and talking today, though. Spiderman is a crappy movie. And it's been awesome this past week to get plugged in to a Christian group. Meeting people with similar mindsets is fantastic.
I swear I'm going to turn into a nocturnal being. If only I didn't have to get tired... Apparently I act like a drunk when I'm really, really tired. I like my weekend habit of a 3 pm brunch. :P
I'm pretty psyched for Thanksgiving...pretty much only in that I don't have classes on thursday. Going home? Eh...that's cool, I guess. I wanna stay here. At this point, I don't mind staying and I don't mind going back. It's just that my high school friends are ...meh. My "best friend" of sorts is pretty much too wrapped up in her boyfriend nowadays.
