Trans-Siberian Orchestra with the family was good. My mom's friend, her daughter, and her boyfriend came too. (Ugh, he's in this metal band and has the full rock-type persona and it makes me pine for a rocker dude for myself whenever I see them) We ate dinner at a seafood place downtown before we went. Two words: CRAB.LEGS. ^^ The Trans-Siberian Orchestra itself is pretty ok. They do "rock" versions of classical and christmas music. Things like O Fortuna, Carol of the Bells, The Magic Flute solo, a medly of the Nutcracker, Overture to Marriage of Figaro, stuff like that... But the lights! I can safely reassure you that I live for light shows. a;sldkfjklsgh...light.shows. They had fireworks rigged up to shoot out the back too, man. Great stuff. Plus we saw this all at a hockey rink converted into a venue.
I kept hoping they'd start playing "The Wall". Seriously, I'd hear one guitar note and my stomach would swell, hoping it was "Another Brick In the Wall" or something. HOLY. COW. I'm listening to that album right now because I need it. I crave it every so often. It's just one of those things. And it's not a matter of it being a pity party. I usually crave it when I'm feeling the most emotionally stable and content with things. I guess I can just always relate to Pink...and the bleeding hearts and the artists. Sometimes I dunno if I'm behind the wall or outside knocking on it.
I also NEED to listen to Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite"...or else I'm assured that my Christmas will be ruined this year. Seeing the ballet would *complete* my Christmas this year. I have an unnatural affinity for that stupid ballet. I blame the Lamb Chop CD I had of it as a kid that I loved.
...I don't wanna go to class tomorrow...I've always got so much on my mind that class would almost be a distraction.

Ps- Look mummy, there's an airplane up in the sky! *shivers* It feels so good to listen to this again...

It's very VERY dangerous for me to look things up on youtube...especially Lamb Chop. I LOVE the the sing-alongs!! The "My name is Flo and I work in a button factory" song is one I haven't managed to forget even after all these years. It's about 4 minutes in. XD AMAZING!
